Hesperia Lake Park sits at 7500 Arrowhead Lake Road on the southeastern edge of Hesperia. Visiting and Recreation Today
The park offers recreational and community facilities for a wide range of uses. On-site amenities include more than 50 RV and tent camping sites, an equestrian camp with corrals and an arena for horse enthusiasts, the John Swisher Community Center (with 120-person capacity), soccer fields, three designated picnic areas, and a lake store stocking bait and tackle. The park grounds are open daily from dawn to dusk, accommodating day-use visitors and overnight guests.
Fishing and overnight camping are central to the park's draw. The lake store and fishing areas operate Sunday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., with night fishing available on Fridays and Saturdays from May 22 through September 12. Adult fishing sessions cost $25 with a five-fish limit; children age 10 and under pay $13 with a paid adult guardian (two-fish limit). Visitors need no state fishing license but must present identification. Camping accommodates multiple needs: overnight camping at $30 per night (or $25 for residents, military, and veterans), RV camping at $45 per night, and group tent areas at $75 per night.
